Beauty Is In The Si Of The Beholder

Now this is a special one for me, simply because this car is on my dream car list at number 2, right under a Z-Tune R34! Yes I know it’s “just a Honda” but I don’t care, I love these cars to bits! And Calvin has created this stunning version of the Revell Civic Coupe in a very fitting metallic blue.

Now in my opinion, all these cars need is a subtle drop, a nice set of wheels and a few OEM+ goodies and you’re good to go. It would seem Calvin agrees with this idea when you see the subtle but effective modifications he has done to this car. Up front are a set of yellow fogs, which break the front end up nicely with its carbon fibre lip.

This beautiful piece of machinery sits on a set of Fujimi OZ Racing wheels tucked up into the arches with gold detailing to the bolts and centre caps to make them that little bit more special.

At the rear, these cars are pretty much perfect out the box, but a nice exhaust upgrade is never a bad thing. Adding to the overall clean look, the lack of spoiler works perfectly to compliment the rear end styling.

The interior wasn’t left out when it comes to subtle goodies. A pair of Bride racing seats keep hold of the driver and passenger whilst the rear seats have been retrimmed with matching bride fabric. A Momo steering wheel from an Evo 7 also updates the look of the dash coupled with a bright red carpet to hint at its Type R brothers and bring a bit of colour into the cabin.

So what makes it move? Well the engine has extra breathing power from a Mugen Intake Box. A partially shaved engine bay also aid in keeping the clean look not only inside the car and out, but the bay as well. The relocated battery also cleans things up immensely and the finishing touch being a carbon fibre strut brace.
